DescriptionThe Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for performing the day-to-day functions necessary to produce embellishments on apparel for orders from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Produce embroidery orders in a timely manner.
Quality control on orders completed.
Perform regular maintenance and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as needed to the Embroidery Supervisor.
Track production on in-house production tracker.
Ability to operate multiple 6 head machines.
Take inventory on merchandise received is correct for orders.
Understand the required backing material, thread and needles per garment material.
Create sew out quality by verifying correct colors and size of logo(s).
Must inspect and prepare the finished garment for order completion.
Help maintain clean and safe work environment.
Place finish goods in designated areas.
Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issuesEnsure all supplies are kept in ample stock.
Experience with heat press is a plus.
Willing to train if needed.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
RequirementsEmbroidery experience preferred.
Will train if necessary.
Ability to multitask and organizedAbility to pay attention to details.
Self-motivated and willingness to take the initiative to complete orders with minimal oversight.
Must follow proper equipment operating procedures.
Must have clear good vision able to differentiate colors and see sewing quality.
Maintain composure and work objectively under pressure.
Effective listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members.
Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
Strong desire to learn.
Physical Requirements:
To perform the essential functions of this job, an employee must be able to meet the following physical demands:
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 15-35 pounds throughout the day.
Must know how to read measurements.
During peak seasons weekends may be required.
Education:
HS Diploma or GED (required)One year experience embroidery preferred, willing to train.
